Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts (Prov 24:3,4TLB).
I'm a great believer in planning. I use the five fold life goal plan to set goals for the year, it's a simple approach and this is just a brief outline. If you're like me I don't want to look back from the end of this year and see the same scenery I saw when I took a look back, last year. Planning helps you move out and on and this leads to a good life. So here's a five fold goal outline you can use.
Financial goals; What you hope to earn and invest, how you plan to make money or just earn it!
Holiday goals; Where you want to go and what you want to see.
Spiritual goals: Church, god , ministry, your ultimate mission in life.
Educational goals; Books to read, courses to enrol in, or career path to follow.
Family Goals; improvements, time management, fun and adventure times, where and when.
The word enterprise means 'undertaking' or 'business venture' Any enterprise built by wise planning.
10 keys to a Great Plan for this year.
1. You build your life through wisdom you build a business through wise planning.
2. Common sense is more important that big dreams. Without common sense a marriage cannot become strong without common business sense business plans cannot become strong.
3. Planing will allow you to take something from idea to action.
4. Planning will show you what to take on and what to leave alone.
5. Planning can save you millions, much time and your reputation for you'll discover in planning what can make you fall and what can give you promotion.
6. Planning will reveal areas of difficulty and show you what skills you need to acquire in order to becomes successful.
7. Planning can give you the edge over your competitor.
8. Planning is not wasted time it's just time where you can keep private your failures which otherwise would be made public had you not planned and just gone ahead and built that business anyway. Planning is therefore a security net that reveals potential problems and pitfalls.
9. Planning gives you something to look forward too ie holidays, adventure etc it gives you motivation in the daily grind of work. A good enough reason to plan.
10. Make your plans so big that you will have enough drive to make it happen. Most people don't believe things will happen for them because they dont know what's involved. So they give up before ever researching the facts. So take time to discover what it lakes legally and financially before you make a good decision. You wont regret it and it will build confidence, which you can use to do the 'best things' in life.
