Character or Charisma...maybe both!

Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 5:20AM What you do in private reveals your character. Who you are in public reveals your charisma. When your charisma is greater than your character sooner or later your weakness will destroy everything you've ever built.
Character gives you strength and confidence, charisma gives you charm and energy.
Character gives you a strong spirit and a 'can do' attitude, charisma gives you hope only when you feel good and in the mood.
Character makes you right with God knowing he will back you up when you're least able and least confident. Charisma can lead to pride and cause a man to overlook God and leave him out of the equation.
Charisma makes you a runner and a contender for the stage of life but its character that makes you a celebrity and a hero long after you've gone.
Charisma is not evil, its just something we must sanctify. Having looks, talent, charm, ability and gift is God's idea he gave you those things. You don't kill those things you just sanctify them. Some folks say 'the flesh is bad' I disagree. It was God's idea to give you a body! and he don't give anything evil! you don't kill the flesh you just sanctify it!
Begin today to build a strong character. This comes from having values, morals, principles and loyalty. Its the foundation for lasting success and ongoing personal peace. There's is nothing worse than being a being a public celebrity and a private failure. Sooner or later a man will discover that peace on the inside is more beneficial to him than fame, claim and fans on the outside. Keep your character. It's You!
